I know there are good and bad days in a woman's life. I get it, I've been there, and I know life gets pretty busy that we forget about ourselves for a moment. Suddenly, we start prioritizing others or things over ourselves, and we forget to "feel" better about ourselves.

But life doesn't have to be that way. We cannot forget who we are and who we were before getting our college degree, getting a new corporate job, or even becoming a mother. The real you is inside, waiting for you to dedicate some time to yourself.

 So here are 5 things you can do to make yourself feel beautiful, sexy, and empowered in minutes:

1- WEAR MAKEUP
Makeup works like therapy, I am serious. When women wear makeup, they discover their identity, define who they are, and find their limits. Start by trying a new product - it can be an eyeliner, lipstick, or even a blush, and then find your limits. Have you noticed how your eyes look bigger once you wear eyeliner and mascara? Have you noticed how your skin glows if you use a primer? Have you noticed how the frame of your face changes when you use eyebrow makeup? If you haven't, I invite you to try it. Push yourself to those limits, and try new makeup products and technics. I bet you will feel confident and pretty in seconds.

2- TRY NEW CLOTHES OR SHOES
Clothes, shoes, outfits. I know most men won't understand, but there are clothes and shoes for every occasion, mood, and even days of the week. Some clothes make women feel more confident, relaxed, and pretty, and some can make them feel insecure. So try anything that will make you happy and empowered. I personally love the feeling of wearing high heels, even when they hurt my feet. As soon as I put on my high heels, my posture gets better, my back gets straight, and of course, heels make me feel feminine.

Some scents can make you feel more relaxed, calm, and happy so try a perfume that fits your personality and the season. 4- GET YOUR HAIR DONE
Literally, you don't need to invest hundreds of dollars in your hair to feel better. I have a quick formula for you: wash your hair and blow dry it. I know we cannot get the same perfect blowdry as the way we get it at the hair salon, but at least blowdrying your hair at home can give it shape and volume. If you prefer to avoid applying too much heat to your hair, let your hair air dry and then blow dry for a few minutes. Trust me; you will feel refreshed and new.
